Social Skills Facilitation

Community Outings
Our community outings at are opportunities to exercise learned skills in real-life settings. This can strengthen and expand their skills which are instrumental in their overall development. We provide hands-on support to families to address challenging behaviors, focusing on the well-being of the child. Community outings also help your child enrich their social skills and promote their independence.
Before going out for community outings, we assist parents by providing them with strategies that are individualized to their child, from ensuring their basic needs, reinforcing, dealing with sensory sensitivities, and identifying the factors that overwhelm them in the outdoors. We may include enjoyable activities that encourage free play, creativity, exploration, and self-discovery. We are here to guide parents and their children in different environments, making sure that the child’s welfare is prioritized.
